It would be nice to have an option to treat any application that's open with an active audio recording session on the mic that's being controlled as a generic "call" when none of the existing integrations are detected.

Not sure how well this translates to Mac, but using Windows APIs I know you can enumerate recording sessions and see the status of which are active. (Presumably you're already using most of the same audio APIs to control the mic status)

Having a catch-all for applications that aren't supported would be particularly nice for things like random web conferences that are only used on occasion (I have a few that I use for things like telehealth visits or educational sites)
